A.Why most clients complain that there is no effectiveness for led grow lights to help vigorous growth of plants?

Reasons as below:

1.Many LED grow lights suppliers in China they allege outside that the luminous flux of 1W chip LEDs they used in their led grow light could reach 30lumen/pcs.But actually not all LEDs could reach 30lumen/pcs. In fact,only the red 630nm LEDs could reach 30 lumen,red 660nm LEDs 20 lumen, blue 440nm 15 lumen.The luminous flux is not enough as a reason.

 

2.The wavelength of LEDs chip is not correct.The LEDs chip of our led grow light is imported directly from Taiwan Epileds,Optotech or Epistar which assure the accuracy & consistency of wavelength and insure the effectiveness.Many our competitors purchase the fake imitated LEDs chip from some LEDs chip agent at only 1/3 price of real original package Taiwan imported LEDs chip.That is why they could offer low price.There is no effectiveness at all by using the fake LEDs. 
 
3.They choose a wrong ratio for growing wrong plants.For example,it is not correct if you use red/blue 8:1 for growing vegetables in greenhouse,however red/blue 8:1 better for growing flowers in greenhouse. We suggest red/blue 8:1, 7:2 or red/blue/white 7:1:1 for growing plants in greenhouse.As it needs full spectrum to grow plants indoor without sunshine,we recommend you our 7 color systems only which is full spectrum imitate the sunlight.The requisite PAR (w/m2) is different for growing plants in greenhouse and indoor.We will offer you suggestions about this. 
 
4.The PAR&PPFD value of led grow light they use is not in the center of light saturating point which has the quickest carbon-dioxide exchange speed.I.e,for growing the medicinal plants ,it needs at least 1512 umol/m2.s. And if the PPFD value of led grow light use for growing medicinal plants during flowering period is less than 504 umol/m2.s ,the medicinal plants will not bloom but will continue growing slowly.As we know,the light saturating point of medicinal plants should be 1512 umol/m2.s which will help the vigorous growth and flowering for medicinal plants.

 

5.During growing period of medicinal plants,you should turn on led grow light 18 hours and turn off 6 hours;During flowering period,you should turn on 12 hours and turn off 12 hours,it is not good to the medicinal plants if it is less than 12 hours of darkness.However ,our timer setting led grow light could solve this problem.Because it could set up automatic turn on and turn off of led grow light. 
 
6.The power supply we use is isolated and safe.It could cut off electricity automatically if the current is too large or electric shock.And its lifespan is long which is a important factor for us to offer 3 years warranty for our 1W series led grow lights. 
 
7.Many led grow light suppliers only imitate to make the led grow lights ,but they don't know some agricultural knowledge.However what we could offer for you is not only led grow light,we also could offer you a better different light fertilizer solutions for different plants growth needs. 

 

B.The spectrum for our Ohmax led grow lights as below:

Chlorophyll most absorbs the red and blue wavelengths from sunlight,but there are a number of additional pigments that also absorbed by plants.So,our LED grow light series use a full spectrum of red,blue,orange,UV,IR and White LEDs,etc.

Wavelength for full spectrum 7 color system: Red660nm; Blue440; Blue470nm; Orange610nm; UV400nm/380nm; Infra Red730nm; White2800K.

 

We have done much work to find the right wavelength which have the best effort on the plants,such as blue 440nm.The effective enfluence for absorption of chlorophyll on plant during growth: Blue 440nm is 3 - 4 times than 450nm.As you known,many led grow light suppliers still use 450nm even 460nm.And red 660nm is the wavelength most absorbed by chlorophyll during the flowering stage.

 

C.Photosynthetically Active Radiation(PAR) and Photosynthetic Photon Flux Density(PPFD)


 

 

Different plants requisite light compensation point and light saturating point is different such as pimento.

As below:

So,for growing pimento in greenhouse,we recommend our OH-GL-003 with ratio red/blue 7:2;

 

For growing pimento indoor without sunshine,we recommend our OH-GL-15 with ratio 7 color system.

 

D.The above is only a solution for growing pimento.As long as you tell us what kind of plants you grow in your greenhouse or indoor,we could offer you a better solution with agricultural knowledge for you to grow your plants and help your plants a huge harvest.
